This policy explains how My Teen Patti Pro ("we", "our") collects, uses, retains and shares your personal data when you use our website at teenpatti.cfd or our Android application. It is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, hosted by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and is the source of truth on data handling.

1. What we collect

The data we collect falls into three buckets:

  • Account data: mobile number (mandatory for signup), display name (optional), state of residence (derived from your phone-number prefix), date of birth (collected at signup to verify 18+).
  • Financial data: UPI handle and bank account (only at first withdrawal), deposit and withdrawal history, game-by-game stake and winnings logs.
  • Device data: Android device model and OS version (for crash diagnostics), IP address (for fraud and region-restriction checks), session timestamps.

We do not collect government ID documents (no PAN, no Aadhaar, no driving licence). We do not collect your contact list, photos, or location at street level.

2. Why we collect it

Each data field has a defined purpose:

  • Mobile number — account login (OTP) and fraud prevention.
  • Date of birth — 18+ verification.
  • State (derived) — to gate registration in seven restricted states (Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana) per local law.
  • UPI/bank — to process withdrawals and meet UPI compliance requirements.
  • Game logs — to display your transaction history, to compute the 30% TDS deduction at withdrawal, and to defend against bot/multi-account abuse.
  • IP address — to enforce regional restrictions, detect VPN-based bypass attempts, and meet anti-money-laundering reporting requirements.

3. How long we keep it

Retention by data category:

  • Account data: retained while the account is active, plus seven years from closure (Income Tax Act record-keeping requirement).
  • Financial data: retained for seven years (statutory tax record).
  • Device data: retained for thirteen months for crash diagnostics, then deleted.
  • Game session logs: retained for thirteen months for dispute resolution, then aggregated and anonymised.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with:

  • UPI partners (NPCI and your bank) — only the data required to process your deposit or withdrawal.
  • The Income Tax Department — TDS deduction reports per Section 194BA of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (mandatory).
  • Law enforcement — only on receipt of a valid legal order under the IT Act or Code of Criminal Procedure, and only the specific records identified in that order.

We do not sell your data to advertisers. We do not run third-party tracking pixels on our website. We do not share data with affiliate marketers.

5. Your rights under DPDPA

You have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of all personal data we hold on you.
  • Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete your data (subject to the statutory seven-year retention on financial records).
  • Grievance: raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer about how your data is being handled.
  • Withdraw consent: at any time, by closing your account from within the app.

The Grievance Officer handles privacy complaints, data-deletion requests, and disputes that the routine support channel could not resolve. If we have not resolved your concern within the statutory window, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Cookies & trackers

On our website we use one session cookie (login state) and one preference cookie (theme/language). We do not run third-party analytics or advertising pixels by default. If we add analytics in future (e.g. Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement), we will update this policy and surface an opt-in notice before collection begins.

Inside the Android app, we use Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting only (anonymised device + stack trace; no personal identifiers).

8. Children

The service is 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we've collected data from an underage user, we delete the account immediately and refund any deposits.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy materially, we'll surface a notice inside the app and on this page for thirty days before the update takes effect. Material changes always require a fresh action on your part (e.g. re-acceptance at login) before they apply.
